 Travel informationAutoliitto is a small automobile club, with some 90.000 members and therefore we do not have similar systems and travel services as the American or European automobile clubs have. There are many touristic associations and organisations in Finland for incoming tourists, and therefore Autoliitto’s activities are not focused in this area. However, it is useful to know: AUTOLIITTO SELLS MAPS/BOOKS/NAVIGATORS We have following maps on sale - and these are member prices, also to FIA club members -: GT road atlas of whole Finland, Karttakeskus, southern Finland 1:200.000, northern Finland 1:400.000 Road map for car users (Autoilijan tiekartta), a foldable map with the scale 1:800.000. Karttakeskus. Member price 10,- EUR. These can not be delivered abroad, available from our shops in Helsinki and Turku. ROAD INFORMATION IN FINLAND The roads are in rather good condition, except maybe in the Northern-most parts. If you want to have a look at the digital map, please visit the web pages of Finnish Road Administration: There you can zoom the parts of the map very closely. In these web pages there is also information about rest service area along the main roads. Additionally, the Finnish Road Administration also shows some traffic flow and weather web cameras in their web site. TRAVEL INFORMATION The best touristic information of Finland derives from the Finnish Tourist Board, which is responsible in Finland for the incoming tourists.
